Frequency Lab

Sixty minutes built around one frequency — chosen for the state you walk in with. Pick a frequency; the field re-forms.

Now tuned to · Hz

01 — The idea

Two questions. One frequency. A bottle of it.

Most fragrance asks what you like. This asks how you want to feel — then builds the answer in front of you and sends it home in your name.

01 · Answer

The quiz finds it

Two questions about where you are and where you'd rather be. Seven frequencies; one of them is the shortest distance between the two.

02 · Listen

Sound opens it

Headphones on, your frequency playing, a blotter of the fragrance built on it in your hand. Nothing to analyse yet.

03 · Tune

You mix it, by hand

Your frequency is the base formula. Lift, depth and glow are yours to move — two or three adjustments, no more, and you're the one holding the pipette.

02 — Your state

Come in with a state. Leave with a frequency.

Thirty seconds, and you arrive at the lab already knowing which frequency is yours.

Right now I feel…

Up to two each. There is no wrong answer — only where you are today.

03 — The collection

Seven frequencies. Seven states.

Each is a hand-blended fragrance and a Solfeggio frequency, its signature rendered as a Chladni pattern in vibrating sand. Tap one to tune the room.

In the lab you meet one as yours, and two as company.

04 — The ritual

Sixty minutes, in six moves.

01 Arrive

A drink, a seat, and the reveal of the frequency your answers pointed to.

02 Listen

Headphones on. Your frequency plays, a blotter of your fragrance in hand. Nothing to analyse yet.

03 Notice

Headphones off. What changed? The first words you put to it become the shape of your formula.

04 Tune

Your frequency is the base. Lift, depth and glow are yours to move — two or three adjustments.

05 Breathe

Inhale, slow the breath, smell again. Did the fragrance change, or did you?

06 Keep

Your bottle is filled, named and labelled, and one line finishes it: when I need to feel ____, I'll wear this.

60 minutes. 2–6 guests is the sweet spot, 8 the maximum. We bring the frequencies, the palette and the sound. You bring the state.

05 — Curate & book

Curate your session, then reserve a time.

We'll confirm your frequency and have the palette set before you arrive.

The price is your bottle — the lab itself is free. Bring your own headphones; you'll scan a QR onsite to stream your frequency track. Reservations are handled securely through our booking system, and your selections carry across so the session lands ready. Private groups and corporate sessions are arranged separately — tell us at booking.

06 — Before you book

What people ask.

Is this safe during pregnancy?

We work with fragrance materials to recognised industry standards, and the workshop follows the usual precautions for handling perfume. You're welcome to take part without applying anything to your skin. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a known fragrance sensitivity, let us know when you book and we'll advise you on the best way to take part. If you have a specific medical concern, check with your doctor.

Do I need any experience with perfume?

Not at all. This is a hands-on fragrance workshop, designed for complete beginners. You don't need to know your notes, ingredients or fragrance families. We'll guide you through the process and explain what you need to know as you go.

What does the sound / frequency part actually mean?

It's an additional layer to the fragrance-making process. We use sound and frequency as part of the experience to help you focus on how a fragrance feels, rather than simply asking what smells "nice". You're still doing what you'd expect in a perfume workshop: smelling, comparing, choosing and blending.

What if I don't connect with the frequency I'm given?

The frequency is a starting point, not a rule. Your session gives you a direction, and you'll have the opportunity to smell, compare and adjust along the way. Your facilitator will help if you're between two options. The finished fragrance is ultimately your choice.

Will I have to put perfume on my skin?

No. Skin application is optional throughout the workshop. You can evaluate and build your fragrance using blotters, and only apply it to your skin if you want to.

Can I make something completely different from my result?

Of course. The result is a starting point for the session, not a prescription. The workshop is about making a fragrance that feels right to you, with guidance from the facilitator.

Can we book the workshop privately?

Yes. Private sessions are available for groups of 2–6, with larger groups possible by arrangement. Corporate and private events can also be organised separately.

What should I wear?

Whatever you're comfortable in. You'll be working with perfume ingredients, so we recommend avoiding your favourite delicate clothing. Standard precautions for handling fragrance materials apply during the workshop.

What if I'm sensitive to fragrance?

Tell us when you book. We can explain how to take part while minimising direct exposure, including evaluating fragrances without applying them to skin. If you have a significant or medically diagnosed sensitivity, please check with your doctor before attending.

What happens if I change my mind about my fragrance?

You'll have plenty of guidance during the process, and the workshop is designed to let you make decisions as you go. Your facilitator will help you refine your blend before you bottle it.

What if I need to reschedule?

Let us know as early as possible and we'll do our best to move you to another available session.

Do I need to believe in frequencies for this to make sense?

No. You don't need to subscribe to any particular theory. Think of the frequency element as a different way into the fragrance-making process. You can simply enjoy the experience, make your perfume and see what you think.
