For centuries, the Arabian Gulf was a vital crossroads of the Silk Road - where traders from India, Persia, East Africa, and China converged with treasures of fragrance, spice, and craft. From bustling souks to the holds of great merchant ships, rare ingredients like clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, and pepper traveled alongside resins such as frankincense and myrrh, and precious botanicals used in medicine, ritual, and perfumery.

In this interactive workshop, you’ll journey through the olfactory heritage of the Silk Road. Guided by Oo La Lab, participants will explore the role of spices and resins in shaping culture and commerce, then craft a bespoke fragrance inspired by this timeless exchange of ideas and ingredients.
